For the third year running Leeds United have tasked Sporting Force to recruit veterans to staff their Summer seasonal staff for the Nation Citizen Programme.

If you want to make a real difference to young peoples lives there is no better way to spend the summer. 

The next step will be joining Sporting Force and Leeds United at The Eddie Gray Suite, Elland Road, on 5th March 2pm - 4pm.

20 working days across a 4 week programme

Dependent on the programme the four starts dates are:
2nd July
23rd July
30th July
6th August

Successful applicants must be able to attend a compulsory assessment evening on Tuesday 20th March 2018.
Training is provided and positions are dependent on a satisfactory DBS clearance.

For Veterans who are on benefits you can make special arrangements so not to affect your current claim.

Wave Leader Role


To successfully manage and lead a NCS Wave of up to 4-10 teams and ensure the delivery of a high quality NCS programme within specification. Supporting the NCS Manager as appropriate. 

Team Leader Roles

£1,500 plus £100 document submission bonus

As a team leader, you will be leading a team of young people aged between 16 and 17. You will be reporting to the; Wave leader and NCS Co-ordinator and you will be in the pastoral care and monitoring behaviour management of the NCS participants

Assistant Team Leader Roles


As an assistant leader, you will support the Team leader, Wave leader and NCS Co-ordinator with the pastoral care and behaviour management of the NCS participants
