Sporting Force are hosting an event to celebrate the Armed Forces and it's similarities to the sports world.
The Armed Forces Football Festival!
Venue: St John's Football Fields - Bishop Auckland.
Teams of 10 to play 7 a side games. (Roll on and Roll off – unlimited substitutions)
There will be a mixture of teams, that can consist of Veterans, Serving personnel, Military Charity Staff and Volunteers, Military organisations staff. Teams can also come from supporting corporate and civilian organisations.
Teams can be mixed gender.
Fee per team £50 to be paid to secure a place, 16 Teams to compete (able bodied).
Teams can play under their own name in their own kit or with a nation team kit (early booking suggested if you have a particular team in mind – England and Scotland have already been taken).
This event is not just for the players your team will need a manager, coach and supporters.
Bring the family, friends and colleagues. The event is to celebrate our Armed Forces.
Special Guests will include well known and respected football personalities from managerial, coaching and playing backgrounds.
Family Fun Festival – a massive field of activities and attractions – Bouncy castles, Football activities, games, entertainers, face painters and loads more.
Parking is available just 2 mins walk away from the venue. Bishop Auckland Rail Station is a 15 minute walk away.
Book your team spot early to ensure your place. To secure your spot, pay £50 on receipt of booking confirmation to Sporting Force.

Each team will be responsible for their teams medical consent forms.
All fund raising on the day will go towards overhead costs of the event and to continue the support of veterans by Sporting Force.
